Hi, I heard on movie about “i need 5 benjamins” and then he gave him the money. Why they say benjamins? Thank you
Thank you Wang for your question. American paper bills has many slang terms. The “Benjamin” refers to one 100 dollar bill because it has the picture of Benjamin Franklin. So five Benjamins would be five one hundred dollar bills. I will do a podcast about this. Very interesting.
