The podcast is sick, haha. I want to know if ’sick’ is popular in all the United states of America. Is it OK if I appreciate a American stanger with ’sick’?

Hi, “Valley girl” refers to rich teenage or college age girls who live in San Fernando Valley near Los Angeles and Hollywood, California. The movies made them out to be not too smart and overly materialistic.

And thanks to ZWF : The slang word “sick”, as you know, means cool or excellent or awesome. This podcast is sick means that you like it. The origin of the slang word “sick” is unknown. But one theory is “sick” the cool thing nowadays is to be popular and have lots of friends. Those who spend a lot of time in social environments tend to get ill more often than those who have “no life”. Thus it is cool to get sick a lot, thus cool things are ’sick’.
